Montre Solmare Co.,Ltd. start to sell a new model "Ionosphere" from BALL WATCH. "Ionosphere" is the outer part of the earth 's atmosphere, extending far beyond the stratosphere.

The "Ionosphere" marks the beginning of the collaboration of Ball Watch and Dr. Owen Garriott, engineer and NASA astronaut.

It was designed entirely for reliability and legibility. The dial is simple white Arabic numerals on a black background with bold, eye-catching colors providing quick, at-a-glance reading. Of course, the self-powered micro gas lights allow easy reading in the darkest environment.
