CLERC was established at Paris as a jeweler by the Clerc family in 1874. Since 1997, with its long experiences in high jewelry making, they moved to Geneva in Switzerland and concentrated on hi-end watch making.

The Icon8 is the new collection released at BaselWorld of this year. The collection is representing "elegant but with strong identity". The figure 8 expresses perpetual renewal in Europe, progressive improvement in Asia and the aspiration toward perfection in the Arab world.

Clerc movements are developed in house or in collaboration with independent watchmakers.
