Victorix Japan Inc. has started distribution of new models, Victorix Swiss Army "Airboss Mach 8 Special Edition" from "Airboss" series.

This storied collection is inspired by an aircraft carrier's “Air Boss”, the individual perched atop the command tower who determines, with pinpoint accuracy, every take-off and landing maneuver on the ship. This collection features high-performance instruments of outstanding technical reliability and accuracy.

The new Victorinox Swiss Army "Airboss Mach 8 Special Edition" houses the chronograph movement turned 180 degrees into the case. A chronograph start/stop pushbutton at 8 o’clock, which is easily engaged with the right thumb. The crown and date window are at 9 o'clock, while a second crown at 2 o'clock activates a key Airboss function: the internal bidirectional flange surrounding the dial features the countdown of aircraft takeoff / landing. The new model is stored in the special box together with the high performance mirror compass (DS40) produced by RECTA.
