Swiss auction house, Antiquorum opens a charity auction in collaboration with the HSH Prince Albert of Monaco, Association Monegasque contre les Myopathies and 34 watchmaking firms in the world.

The charity auction "ONLY WATCH 2005" is to help and promote research on Duchenne muscular dystrophy. The watch manufacturers will create a watch which is either unique, or is the number 1 of a new series and will donate them. The profits from the auction will help finance international clinical trials on Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy driven by Parents Associations which aims to aid and promote international scientific and

medical research, in the hope of finding the means of first slowing and disease's progress, and then curing it.

The "ONLY WATCH 2005" will be held on September 22, 2005, in the Principality of Monaco. Previews in various countires are scheduled. That in Tokyo is on September 13, at Meguro Gajoen.
