Antiquorum Tokyo Preview of the Private Collection of Theodor Beyer

The Theodor Beyer Private Collection is going to be auctioned in Zurich on November 16 at the Hotel Baur au Lac by Antiquorum.

Mr.Theodor Beyer, 6th generation owner of the jeweller Beyer, died last July. His collection of clocks and watches for more than 40 years are the best and most technically discriminating timepieces made by the greatest masters from every epoch. The sale is expected to feasure more than 170 lots, which can be previewed in Geneva, New York, Zurich and Tokyo.

Some of the highlights of the 170 lots are; Patek Philippe Ref.1463 made in the 1950s, his personal watch with his name on ref.3940, or, pocket watch by Urban Jurgensen made in the 1810s, gold chronometer by Frederic Courvoisier made in the 1860s, enamel automaton made in the 1820s, etc.
