Montre Solmare Co.,Ltd. (Tokyo/Japan) has started import and distribution of BALL WATCH recently. BALL WATCH has been well known as a railroad watch of America. It started in 1891 when Webster Clay Ball, a man born in Cleveland/Ohio, was appointed as Chief Inspector for the Lake Shore Railroad Lines. This appointment was led by a tragic railroad accident happened on April 19, 1891 because the watch of the engineer was not accurate. Webster Clay Ball investigated Time and Watch conditions throughout the Lake Shore Line and developped an inspection system for their implementation. Since then, BALL WATCH has been produced under its own standard for precious timekeeping in any severe circumstance, for example, in all winds and weathers, with mud or dirt, in the deep sea or on high mountains. BALL WATCH keeps the American accuracy and uniformity in timekeeping, and is produced in Geneve/Switzerland.
Montre Solmare is the importer of ALAIN SILBERSTEIN and VINCENT CALABRESE. Montre Solmare Co.,Ltd.
