Halls for exhibition are divided and segmented in 5 buildings. They are for watches (Hall 1&5), for jewellry (Hall 2), watches (Hall 4), for related industries (Hall 3),and National Pavilion (Hall 6). In recent years, considerable effort has been invested in upgrading the design of each halls and for the showground as a whole. This year, the forecourt and foyer of Hall of Dreams(Hall 1.0) has been completely redecorated and given a contemporary facelift for the 2007 event.
BASELWORLD Daily News
BASELWORLD Daily News, launched at last year's show, was a huge success. It will be expanded and, instead of the five issues published last year, there will be seven issues of the BASELWORLD Daily News in 2007. They are available at the entrance to all the halls.
BASELWORLD Village
The show's organisers will be offering all visitors and exhibitors an attractive opportunity to further expand their networking activities, courtesy of the new "BASELWORLD Village". It comprises two restaurants, two bars and several lounges. It will be open every evening from 6pm to 2am during the Show and its located just 10 minutes from the showground by shuttle bus, tram or taxi.
On-line Tickets
Admission is SFr.45 for a day ticket, and Sfr.120 for a season ticket. They are sold at the entrance of the fair, but, purchase in advance is also available online at www.baselworld.com. For the purchase, registration at "my login" is required. Payment is only by credit card.
Show Catalog and Floor Plan
Purchase of the catalog is also available at www.baselworld, but application is only after April 11. Necessary information you may needin advance can be obtained at "Online catalog" and "Floor Plan".
Hotel Reservation
Easy booking of hotel accommodation outside Basel or for Hotel ships in Basel is also available under "Hotels" of the official site.
