Swatch Group(Japan)KK, Blancpain Division organize the "Watchmaking Art" exhibition again this year at a gallery at Ginza (Tokyo). The theme of this year's exhibition is "Minute Repeater and Automata" as last year. Watches with minute repeater mechanism and automata watches with enamelled miniture moving dolls will be exhibited for public. At the exhibition of this year, automa watches are specially in focus. There exhibited also the Japanese traditional art, "Karakuri Doll", that had been created in the same period in Japan with similar mechanism as automata watches. The "Karakuri Dolls" such as the "Bringing-tea-doll" or "Drawing-baw-boy", well known as works by the Ninth Tamaya Shohei will be displayed with performances. At the same time, Blancpain full collection, including the new models introduced at Basel this year will be displayed. Admission is free.
