The 12th BLANCPAIN "Watchmaking Art Exhibition - Tourbillon"

Swatch Group(Japan)KK, Blancpain Division has organized the "Watchmaking Art Exhibition" and opened for public at a gallery in Ginza on June 18 and 19.

 

Blancpain is a Swiss watch brand with 270 years of history. The "Watchmaking Art Exhibition" has been held by Blancpain every year to introduce Japanese people the European craftmanship of precised handwork.

The theme of this year's exhibition was "Tourbillon". It is one of the most important inventions in the watch history by A.L-Breguet. Blancpain's tourbillon has no supporting bar and allows better visibility of the mobile cariage revoluting one time per minute.

 

 

At the exhibition, not only tourbillon but also the latest models released at Baselworld 2005 as well as full collection, about 150 watches, were exhibited for public.
