Burberry, a British luxuary brand, and Fossil Inc (Texas,USA) had signed the global license contract on producation and distribution, and started to sell Burberry watches worldwide.

On the Japanese market, Fossil Japan Inc (Tokyo) make distribution from April. Burberry watches are available at department stores and watch retailers as well as Berberry boutiques all over Japan.

Burberry started in 1856 when Thomas Burberry opened his shop to sell travell goods. Soon after that, Burberry gained fame as elegant and functional out-door wear. In 1955, Burberry was appointed as a purveyor to the British Royal family. The well-known "Burberry check" was introduced on trench coat liner in 1924, and since then, it has been the familiar pattern of the brand.

The first collection of 2003 contains 50 models. They are HERITAGE, SIGNATURE, ENDURANCE series. Prices between Yen 45,000 and Yen 105,000. All Swiss made and covered by internatinoal guarantee for two years.

<SIGNATURE> modern taste series for ladies     The second collection of 2003 is scheduled to be announced at the Basel in April. From 2004, new collection will be announced two times a year, in February for spring/summer, and in September for autumn/winter.
