Cuervo y Sobrinos Flagship Store & Museum in Havana & 3rd Latino JAPAN

Muraki Ltd., the official importer of Cuervo y Sobrinos, organized the press conference for Cuervo y Sobrinos on November 12. Cuervo y Sobrinos announced the opening of the first flagship shop & museum in Havana and commended The 3rd Latino JAPAN also.

Cuervo y Sobrinos, the watch brand which has the roots in Cuba, opened the first flagship store & the museum in Havana last July.

This space is called "El reloj Cuervo y Sobrinos" (the watch Cuervo y Sobrinos), and it was established in the 19th century historical building in the center of Muralla street, Havana.

The museum is decorated with art deco with Havana atmosphere of the 1940s. Antique watches are mainly displayed and the original safe (photo left)  of Cuervo y Sobrinos is exhibited also.

The culture and inheritance of Latin is the identity of Cuervo y Sobrinos and the brand is very proud of it. Since 2003, the brand praises Latin origin people whom showed superior activity in each field and commends "Latino International Prize".

The prize was conferred on Mr. Andy Garcia, an actor, in 2004.

 

In commemoration of the 125th anniversary of the foundation of the brand, "Latino JAPAN Prize" was established in Japan in 2007. It commends a person who is active and has the hot heart that is good for a Latino.

In this year, Mr. Junichi Ishida, an actor, was chosen as the 3rd Latino JAPAN, since he is one of the people who became the most topic and has both hot heart and fashionable senses that deserved to be called a Latino. Mr. Marzio Villa, president of Cuervo y Sobrinos, awarded the prize to Mr. Ishida (photo above).
