Nihon SiberHegner changed its name to DKSH Japan K.K. from April 1, 2009. Nihon SiberHegner K.K. was established in Yokohama in 1865. It played a key role in setting up a center for trading raw silk as one of the first foreign trading companies in Japan and soon began importing watches and machinery into Japan in the middle of the Meiji period. SiberHegner Holding Ltd. and Diethelm Keller Services Asia Ltd. merged in June 2002; subsequently DKSH Holding Limited was launched. Business activities are organized into four specialized Business Units that mirror DKSH fields of expertise: Consumer Goods, Healthcare, Performance Materials and Technology. The DKSH group is operated in 455 business locations in 35 countries. It has reported double-digit growth since the merger. It is one of the top 20 Swiss companies ranked by sales. The group decided to unite all its subsidiaries name to DKSH in all 35 countries by 2010. Therefore Nihon SiberHegner K.K. changed its name to DKSH Japan K.K. By changing its name to DKSH which has high reputation on the leading Market Expansion Services Group with focus on Asia, it enhances of its brand strength and strengthens the Japanese operations. Consumer Goods Business Unit of DKSH Japan K.K. imports and distributes 18 watch brands : ARNOLD&SON, CORUM, DUBEY & SCHALDENBRAND, GRAHAM, HARRY WINSTON, LOUIS ERARD, Maîtres du Temps, MAURICE LACROIX, MOMO DESIGN, MONDAINE, PARMIGIANI Fleurier, ROGER DUBUIS, SALVATORE FERRAGAMO, TIMEX, TX,ULYSSE NARDIN and WENGER.
