On May 19 in Zurich, the 2004 Master of Swiss Web prize was awarded to a young watchmaking firm from Martigny/Switzerland, Factory121, which was rewarded for its innovative approach to business development. Its site www.121time.com allows Internet users, in a particularly user-friendly environment, to design their own Swiss made watch at an unbeatable price.

The www.121time.com allows each client to construct his or her own watch through a vast selection of watch components, such as cases, movements, bezels, dial faces and to include as many as 72 diamonds in its watch design. Watches are shipped directly from the factory at fraction of the traditional retail price. Purchase from Japan is of course possible, but consumption tax and custom charge is imposed.
