Swatch Group Japan started Jaquet Droz

Swatch Group Japan started distribution of Jaquet Droz watches from December 1, 2002.

Jaquet Droz was a genius watchmaker in the 18 century. He started his atelier in La Chaux-de-Fonds in 1738 and produced beautiful jewelry clocks equipped with his original complicated mechanism. Soon later, he has completed "automata".

Swatch Group has bought the brand Jaquet Droz in 2000 from internatinal investors and will revive this historical brand. The new "Jaquet Droz" is composed with 3 collections.

Hommage Londres 1774

Jaquet Droz opened his London atelier in 1774. The collection is characterized by tonneau case.
