A company in Osaka, Rox Co.,Ltd, has started
the imoprt and distribution of JEAN D'EVE watches lately.

Manufacturer of JEAN D'EVE (Switzerland)
founded Le Locle/Switzerland in 1888, and produced "LePhare",
"Memory" or "Galet" watches under the company
name Le Phare Watch Manufactory.
In 1981, they announced SECTORA
collection under the "JEAN D'EVE" brand name. It has a
revolutionary display of time in an angle of 120 degree. The watch
hand on dial springs back up to its starting point immediately once
it has travelled through 120 degree. The SECTORA collection

Soon after the debut of JEAN D'EVE brand,
the company name was changed to Le Pahre Jean D'eve.

In 1988, 100 years from its foundation,
Jean D'eve launched the first generator watch, "SAMARA".
It incorporates a quartz movement whose power source is provided
by movement of wrist like a self-winding mechanical watch. It has
the accuracy of quartz but does not require battery change.
The new generation "SAMARA2"(photo:
right) was announced at the Basel 2003. It has a prolonged power
reserve capacity - 9 months when full-charged.
