Results of "The Longines Oldest Watch in Japan" was announced at Imperial Hotel in Tokyo on June 24, 2010.

"Longines oldest watch contests" were organized in Russia and China. This is the third contest.

Longines oldest watches which have been confirmed in Japan were 2 pocket watches owned by Saigo Takamori.

486 watches have been submitted to this campaign and the result provided some surprises. This contest has revealed that the oldest watch with the Longines trademark in Japan has been produced in 1867. This watch belongs to Mr. Tanaka, the winner of the 1st prize. 2 weeks trip to Switzerland was presented to Mr. Tanaka.

Longines Heritage Museum Fair will be exhibited at the Concourse of Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi Main Store between June 30 (Wednesday) - July 5 ( Monday) as the main event of "The Oldest Longines Watch in Japan" campaign.
