Oumi Watch, Glasses and Jewelry School in Shiga prefecture has trained
young graduates to be watchmakers since 1976. The new session starts from
April next year, and the registration will start on October 1. The school has the 3 courses
-" Watch", "Watch and Jewelry", "Watch, Glasses and Jewelry". Each course accepts only 20 students.
Three years of curriculum. Applicants are requested to submit the application
and 1 photo.
Oumi Watch, Glasses and Jewelry School is affiliated
with the Oumi Shrine, which is dedicated the Tenji Emperor who has started
the Time system in Japan. In the precincts of Oumi Shrine, there is the
Watch Museum where some 3,000 items related to watches from the world
are exhibited.
