PANERAI Exhibition in Tokyo

Officine Panerai has held the "IL VALORE DEL TEMPO" exhibition at the Tokyo Internatinal Forum from June 4 to 12, and introduced its history to public. Total 5,200 people has visited during the period.

PANERAI is a watch brand started in Florence of Italy since 1860, specializing in high precision mechanisms and becoming official supplier to the Royal Italian Navy. At present, PANERAI watches are produced at its own factory in Neuchatel in Switzerland.

 

 

At the exhibition, the history and works of PANERAI were introduced through its precision optical and mechanical instruments and watches which were used by the Royal Italian Navy to achieve special missions during the 2nd World War.

At the same time, Panerai current models and, as linking to its future, the first model equipped with Panerai original movement "Panerai Caliber P.2002", which was developped and produced inhouse, "Panerai Radiomir Eight Days GMT" was also exhibited prior to other countries. The new movement is handwinding with 8 days power reserve and indicates the second zone time.
