Swatch Group SA (Bienne/Switzerland) announced, on January 24, about their new headquarters for Japan in Tokyo's Ginza that they are going to build.

The headquarters will be ready in autumn 2006. The location is at Ginza 7-9-18 on the main street. The building composes show-rooms of BREGUET,BLANCPAIN, GLASHUTTE Original, JAQUET-DROZ, LEON HATOT, OMEGA, and SWATCH on the lower floors, and service center as well as offices on higher floors. They plan to prepare a public space on the top floor.

The building is named as "Nicolas G. Hayek Center". It is the first budiling that Swatch Group has by their own out of Switzerland.

Design of the building is by Mr.Shigeru Ban. His idea is to make seven show rooms with glass wall for each brand. Each show room is made also as a lift and can convey customers to main shops.
