Watch Technicum, has started to accept applications for admission
of 2009.

Watch Technicum was opened in April 2003, training young watchmakers
under the Swiss WOSTEP
program (*see below).

WOSTEP (=Watchmakers of Switzerland Training and Educational
Program)
A training institution of watchmaking
in Neuchatel/Switzerland, which is organized by Swiss watch
manufacturers. WOSTEP give partnership to schools in the world,
and those partnership schools are providing the entire curriculum
of 3,000 hours of WOSTEP. After completing the total curriculum
and passing the final certification examinations, students
will receive a WOSTEP diploma. In Japan, there are two WOSTEP
partnership schools, Tokyo
Watch Technicum and Hiko-Mizuno
College of Jewelry. |
