A watchmakers shcool operated by Rolex, Tokyo Watch Technicum, has started to accept applications for admission of 2006.

Tokyo Watch Technicum was opened in April 2003, training young watchmakers under the Swiss WOSTEP program (*see below).

As the school accepts only 12 students each year, applicants are requested to have the first , second and third examinations for admission.

Prior to application, Tokyo Watch Technicum prepares meetings to explain and show about shcool for applicants. To participate the meetings, reservation is requested to the following URL or by post card to the following address.

* WOSTEP (=Watchmakers of Switzerland Training and Educational Program)

A training institution of watchmaking in Neuchatel/Switzerland, which is organized by Swiss wach manufacturers. WOSTEP give partnership to schools in the world, and those partnership schools are providing the entire curriculum of 3,000 hours of WOSTEP. After completing the total curriculum and passing the final certification examinations, students will receive a WOSTEP diploma. In Japan, there are two WOSTEP partnership schools, Tokyo Watch Technicum and Hiko-Mizuno College of Jewelry.
