2026 NEW MODELS - JAEGER-LECOULTRE

JAEGER-LECOULTRE
“Master Hybris Inventiva Gyrotourbillon Stratosphere”

Jaeger-LeCoultre has unveiled the “Master Hybris Inventiva Gyrotourbillon Stratosphere” as the first creation in its new high-complication collection, Hybris Inventiva. Following the “Hybris Mechanica,” introduced in 2003, and the “Hybris Artistica,” launched in 2014, this marks the third series in the Hybris universe. The collection aims to bring pioneering mechanisms into practical application, laying the groundwork for the future development of increasingly sophisticated complications.

The hand-wound Calibre 178 features a new-generation triple-axis Gyrotourbillon, representing the culmination of nearly 80 years of tourbillon development. Its three titanium cages rotate at intervals of 20, 60, and 90 seconds respectively, covering 98% of the positions a wristwatch is likely to encounter and significantly reducing the impact of gravity on timekeeping accuracy.

The movement is adorned with 16 different decorative techniques, including guilloché engraving, enamelling and lacquering, elevating the movement itself to a work of art. From hand-applied beveling, which requires approximately 65 hours to complete, to a host of other refined details, this exceptional timepiece brings together the pinnacle of Jaeger-LeCoultre’s technical expertise and mastery of the métiers d’art.
