“WATCH.SWISS Exhibition” holds in Tokyo

Launched by FH in 2016, WATCH.SWISS is an educational and experiential program presented around the world. Through seven themes—Swiss,Swiss Made,Design,History,Precision,Manufacturing,and Complicated Watches—visitors can explore more than 400 years of Swiss watchmaking heritage, craftsmanship, innovation, and artistry.

The exhibition features interactive totems equipped with iPads and a digital touchscreen workbench, where visitors can virtually assemble the movement of a mechanical watch while discovering the remarkable precision and craftsmanship behind Swiss watchmaking.

For this special edition, held with the cooperation of the Embassy of Switzerland in Japan and Switzerland Tourism, visitors will also experience Swiss culture and lifestyle in a welcoming salon inspired by a traditional Swiss chalet. The space includes a library of books dedicated to watches, displays recreating a watchmaker's workshop, and hands-on coloring activities using art materials provided by Caran d'Ache

Weekend programs will further enrich the experience with alphorn performances, a talk session featuring Mr.Paolo Lunardi, Director of Switzerland Tourism Japan, and Ayako Nakano, Director of the FH Tokyo Office, as well as live painting demonstrations by pen artist tanochi. Guests visiting on weekends will also be invited to enjoy Nespresso coffee and Swiss wines, offering an opportunity to experience Switzerland through all five senses.

More than an exhibition dedicated to watches, WATCH.SWISS celebrates Switzerland's traditions, craftsmanship, aesthetics, and hospitality. Visitors are warmly invited to discover the world of Switzerland through the lens of its world-renowned watchmaking culture
