News A Japanese imporeter, MV Co. Ltd. (Headquarters in Chuo-ku, Osaka) started in August to distribute the Swiss watch brands, "Alfex" and "Les Millionnaires".
1, ALFEX – for the past 65 years, Alfex has attached the utmost importance to design and is consistently guided by Swiss standards of quality. The company was founded in 1948 and has worked since then to create a brand which revolutionizes traditional watch concepts. Design has been a top priority and a central value of Alfex from the outset. The brand has already won a number of international design prizes. These days, they have customers in over 50 countries, and have enlarged their watch market as an independent global brand.
The New IKON collection - LED lighting activated by pushing a button turns the nine models in black, white, blue, grey and lilac into stylish yet at the same time unconventional trend objects. The bracelets of the new models with a perfect ergonomic fit are made of silicon material and surround the watch case harmoniously.
2, Les Millionnaires – In 1985, Les Millionnaires was established in Zurich, Switzerland, as a Jewelry manufacturer by Urs Bohler. Francine Boler, the jewelry designer, has produced numerous haute couture jewelries. In 2010, the jewelry-maker Les Millionnaires moved into a new area of business, 27 years after being formed. The company started with the series production of collector’s watches. Les Millionnaries watches inspired by the Jewelry designer with a proficient skill are product of new interpretations of proven jewelry design, or are individually created a reflect special themes.
POSEIDON – the model with hands designing a trident is a motif of Poseidon from the Greek mythology. The case images a wooden sailboat, and bronze is used as the case’s material to create grain of wood on the surface. An ancient nautical chart is set on the center of a dial. Some motifs like a goddess who leads to safe cruising, an anchor, and a rope are decorated on the case face and side. A crown designs a rudder. Limited edition of 88 timepieces.
