“RM 53-01 Tourbillon Pablo Mac Donough”
Debuting in 2012, the RM053, produced for Argentinean polo player Pablo Mac Donough, boasted outstanding shock-resistance, but the RM53-01, its successor model, can withstand around 5000 G. One of its greatest features is that, by use of the glass, composed of two sheets of sapphire glass separated by a polyvinyl film in 0.2mm, even if the outer sapphire cracks, it does not shatter, at the same time ensuring that there is no impact on the interior from the internal sapphire. Internal mechanisms including the movement are held in place by means of cable suspension.
