Jaeger-LeCoultre limited time cafe "Reverso 1931 Café"

From November 10, 2022 (Thursday), Jaeger-LeCoultre will open "Reverso 1931 Café", an elegant and exciting new spot with the theme of "Reverso", a watch that symbolizes Art Deco design, at Roppongi Hills Hills Cafe/Space. It is a cafe where you can fully enjoy the deco style and atmosphere of the era when Reverso was created. At Reverso 1931 Café, you can enjoy a special pastry collection by Paris-based chef Nina Métayer, who had been awarded Pastry Chef of the Year twice.

A new typography 1931 ALPHABET, created for Jaeger-LeCoultre by a Brooklyn-based lettering artist Alex Trosciutto is also presenting in the exhibition corner. Alex Trosciutto known for using the visual possibilities of language to redefine traditional ideas of what typography is, he also takes Art Deco as a starting point of new alphabet. With its bold contemporary style and robust sculptural quality, the new signature lettering adds a modern touch to Jaeger-LeCoultre's visual identity.

Starting in 2022, 「Made of Makers」encapsulate a series of collaborations with artists and with artisans from various disciplines outside watchmaking, building a community of creators with similar values and visions of creativity, and provoking new conversations. Nina Métayer and Alex Trosciutto are also one of the members of「Made of Makers」program.
