“Freak X Yagasuri”
A new model in the series with complex mechanisms of Ulysse Nardin’s technology, such as a flying carousel mechanism that rotates the movement itself to indicate the minutes, and a dual direct escapement that does not have a pallet fork. This model is decorated with Yagasuri arrow fletching. Yagasuri is a traditional Japanese “Wagara” pattern that began to be used as a samurai kimono in the Momoyama period, and has been used as a lucky charm since the late Edo period. To create such a difficult dial, three high-tech technologies, lacquer, galvanic, and laser had been used. Limited edition in Japan and China.
