FREDERIQUE CONSTANT
“Classic Moneta Moonphase”
Frederique Constant introduces two new models in the Classic Moneta Moonphase collection. This collection, named 'Moneta'—the Italian word for 'currency'—features the traditional Geneva decoration of a coin edge on the inner bezel, offering a design where vintage charm and modernity blend seamlessly.
One model features a Milanese mesh bracelet evoking 1970s elegance. It harmonizes with the stainless steel case, creating a casual yet refined impression. The other model presents a classic look with a yellow gold colored PVD case and matching hands and indexes. Both feature a 37mm gender-neutral size, quartz movement, and an accessible price point. The dial features delicate sunray finishing, beautifully reflecting light onto the dauphine hands and indices.
The serene dial, devoid of a seconds hand, is accented by a moon phase display at the 6 o'clock position. Designed based on the lunar cycle of 27 days, 7 hours, 43 minutes, and 12 seconds, the moon phase display boasts high precision, theoretically accumulating only one day of error every 122 years. Requiring less adjustment than mechanical movements, it maintains stable beauty even with daily use.
Case: Diameter 37mm, Thickness 7.6mm, SS, Water Resistance 5 ATM / Movement: Quartz Cal. FC-206 / Price: 220,000 yen
