Yokohama Sogo 2014 World Watch Fair will be held from October 9th to October 13th on the 8th floor, Yokohama Sogo store.
New models in 2014 released at the popular exhibitions in Switzerland, will be exhibited at the fair. Various brands from traditional models to latest innovative models will be on display. For the 150th anniversary of Diplomatic Relations between Switzerland and Japan, special exhibitions will take place introducing the history and relation of Yokohama and Swiss watches.
- Talk-show by Mr. Takeshi Matsuyama
On the occasion of the 150th Anniversary of Diplomatic Relations between Switzerland
and Japan, Mr. Takeshi Matsuyama will talk about watches, Yokohama port and an
epoch based on Yokohama.
Mr. Takeshi Matsuyama was born in Kyoto, and is now living in Yokohama. He is active
as a lyric writer, a writer and a magazines' editor. He is very knowledgeable for railroads,
cameras, tea ceremony and antiques as well as watches.
