“Tank Must Watch”
Joining the over 100-year-old "Tank", the iconic collection of Cartier, is "Tank Must" that gives a contemporary reinterpretion to its design code. Some of the new models are equipped with SolarBeat™ (solar movement) for the first time as a Cartier watch. Roman indexes on the dial are hollowed out so that the solar battery under the dial can be charged with solar energy delivered through the openings. It took four years for Cartier to originally develop this design. The strap uses a non-animal material made from recycled apple peels. The new model showcases the innovativeness of the brand while espressing their environmental conscioueness in Cartier's elegant manner.
