SwissPrimeBrands Co., Ltd. to Begin Handling Independent Watch Brand "Laine"
SwissPrimeBrands Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as SPB), the exclusive distributor in Japan for Swiss independent watch brands such as "Romain Gauthier" and "Laurent Ferrier," has begun handling the independent watch brand "Laine", which has its atelier in La Chaux-de-Fonds, starting in 2025.
Having already established its presence in markets such as Hong Kong and Taiwan, Laine has built a strong partnership with SPB. In celebration of SPB's 10th anniversary in 2024, a special limited-edition model from the "V38" collection was produced, symbolizing the close relationship between the two companies.
Laine is an independent watch brand founded in 2015 by Torsti Laine, a graduate of a Finnish watchmaking school. Known for its intricate guilloché decoration using traditional hand-operated machines and its vividly colored dials, the brand has attracted attention for its meticulous craftsmanship. With annual production limited to just over 80 pieces, the number of watches available in Japan is extremely limited.
As a rare opportunity to view these exceptional timepieces in person, a pop-up fair will be held at Takashimaya Watch Maison in Nihonbashi, Tokyo, starting February 19, 2025. The fair will showcase the new "P37" collection to be launched in 2025, as well as the special anniversary edition of the "V38" model commemorating SPB’s 10th year. On March 5, during the fair period, founder Torsti Laine himself will appear at the venue to personally present Leine watches to attendees.

[V38 / SPB 10th Anniversary Limited Edition]
This elegant model pairs a radiant red gold case with a deep blue guilloché dial, exuding refined sophistication. The dial features three distinct types of guilloché decoration on the center dial, outer dial, and small seconds subdial. Through the sapphire case back, one can admire traditional Swiss craftsmanship, including Côtes de Genève and perlage finishes. The micro-rotor is engraved with a unique serial number, emphasizing its exclusivity. Limited to only 10 pieces.
