“Santos de Cartier”
The Santos de Cartier, originating from the rectangular watch Louis Cartier designed for Alberto Santos-Dumont in 1904, welcomes a new small-size model in 2025. The case measures 34.5mm in height, 27.0mm in width, and 7.08mm in thickness. It is available in three materials: stainless steel, steel and 18K yellow gold, and solid 18K yellow gold. The dial features a sunray guilloché finish, with Roman numerals and blued sword hands creating a refined look. It houses a quartz movement, with the case thickness reduced for enhanced comfort. The bracelet remains interchangeable, with a leather strap included for each model. The gold model pairs with an alligator strap, while the others feature a smooth calf leather strap, both using an Ardillon buckle. Water-resistant to 3 ATM, it incorporates a quick-switch mechanism and a crown set with a blue spinel, achieving a fusion of classic and contemporary design.
