Watches & Wonders 2025 - Zenith

Zenith unveiled the “G.F.J.” at Watches & Wonders Geneva 2025, a revival of the legendary hand-wound movement “Calibre 135”.

Launched to commemorate Zenith's 160th anniversary, the “G.F.J.” takes its name from founder Georges Favre-Jacot. This commemorative model inherits the spirit of the legendary hand-wound movement “Calibre 135” and has been reimagined for the modern era. Cal. 135 was produced from 1945 through the 1970s, achieving an unmatched 2,333 awards during the golden age of chronometer competitions, including those held by the Neuchâtel Observatory. The designation “135” originates from its dimensions: 13 lignes in diameter (approximately 30mm) and 5mm thick, representing the maximum size permitted in competitions of that era. This piece features a platinum 950 case housing a hand-wound movement with a Breguet balance spring, delivering a 72-hour power reserve and COSC-certified precision. Its three-layer dial combines lapis lazuli, mother-of-pearl, and guilloché engraving for exceptional visual depth. Three straps, including an alligator leather option, are included. Limited to 160 pieces.

Case: Diameter 39.15mm, Thickness 10.5mm (Platinum), Water-resistant 5 ATM / Movement: Hand-wound Cal. 135 (Frequency18,000 vph, Approx. 72-hour power reserve) / Price: 6,952,000 yen
