“Portugieser Chronograph Ceratanium®”
Among the IWC Schaffhausen's flagship collections, the “Portugieser” chronograph—renowned for its enduring popularity—has been reintroduced with an innovative new material expression. Since 1998, this model has been admired for its refined dial layout and sporty elegance, and it is now reinterpreted using Ceratanium®, an advanced material developed in-house by IWC.
The watch features an all-black design, with the case, crown, pushers, dial, hands, and even the strap unified in black. Ceratanium® combines the lightness and robustness of titanium with the exceptional hardness and scratch resistance of ceramic, while also offering a distinctive dark metallic finish.
The movement is powered by the in-house caliber 69355, equipped with a column-wheel chronograph mechanism. This timepiece seamlessly blends classic design with cutting-edge materials. Limited to 1,500 pieces worldwide.
