Watches & Wonders Geneva 2026 - RAYMOND WEIL

Raymond Weil unveiled “The Fifty” at Watches & Wonders Geneva 2026

Raymond Weil has unveiled the anniversary model “The Fifty” to commemorate its 50th anniversary. Limited to just 50 pieces worldwide, this timepiece is equipped with the historic Valjoux 236 movement from 1976—the brand’s founding year—making it a symbolic bridge between past and present. Renowned as a hand-wound, column-wheel chronograph movement, the Valjoux 236 has been revived through modern technology and the skilled craftsmanship of master watchmakers. It features meticulous finishing throughout, including Côtes de Genève decoration, black ruthenium treatment, and beveled edges. In addition, the column wheel and screws are heat-blued, enhancing the movement’s three-dimensional depth and creating a striking visual contrast.

The dial features a four-layer construction—comprising the central section, hour track, minute track, and subdials—achieving both high legibility and refined decoration. A variety of finishes, including a tapisserie motif, grained texture, and snailed detailing, strongly evoke a neo-vintage aesthetic. The well-balanced proportions combine a 37 mm stainless steel case with a white gold bezel, creating an elegant presence. The caseback is engraved with “1976” and “2026,” along with the limited-edition number.

Case: Diameter 37mm, Thickness 10.75mm, SS, Water resistant 5 ATM, See-through case back / Movement: Hand-wound Cal. RW1976 (Valjoux 236) (17 jewels, Frequency 21,600 vph, Power reserve approximately 40 hours) / Price: 2,090,000 yen
