“RM 07-01 Automatic Winding Coloured Ceramics”
The “RM 07-01 Automatic Winding Coloured Ceramics” released by Richard Mille is positioned as the final chapter of a series that began in 2021. In this work, which further explores color and form, three new models featuring gem-setting have been introduced: Blush Pink, Lavender Pink, and Powder Blue. Each model combines the exceptional durability and vivid coloration of TZP ceramics, with carefully selected gemstones that enhance the individuality of each piece. The RM 07-01 Blush Pink pairs diamonds with yellow and blue sapphires to create a striking, vibrant contrast. The RM 07-01 Powder Blue combines diamonds with pink sapphires and tsavorites, adding depth to its fresh aesthetic. Meanwhile, the RM 07-01 Lavender Pink features diamonds alongside orange sapphires and rubies, achieving a dynamic harmony of color.
The dial is built on a red gold base with a gray PVD finish, featuring a complex, multi-layered construction that combines finely crafted colored ceramics, laser-cut rubber, and diamond setting. It is further enhanced by guilloché decoration executed using a traditional hand-operated rose engine. This three-dimensional composition reinterprets the creative energy of the 1980s. Each model is released in a limited edition of 50 pieces worldwide.
