2026 NEW MODELS - LOUIS VUITTON × DE BETHUNE

LOUIS VUITTON × DE BETHUNE
“LVDB-03 LOUIS VARIUS Project”

Louis Vuitton has unveiled the “LVDB-03 LOUIS VARIUS Project,” a collaboration with the Swiss independent brand De Bethune. Positioned as the third chapter in its ongoing initiatives dedicated to independent watchmaking, the project fuses a contemporary reinterpretation of the “Sympathique” mechanism—originally devised in the 18th century by Abraham-Louis Breguet—with De Bethune’s emblematic creation, the DB25 GMT Starry Varius.
The wristwatch, LVDB-03 GMT Louis Varius, adopts Louis Vuitton’s iconic Tambour case. Crafted from polished titanium and treated with De Bethune’s proprietary thermal oxidation process, the case achieves a deep, lustrous blue hue. The hand-wound movement displays hours and minutes, along with GMT, day-and-night indication, and a jumping date. The dial features a star chart depicting the Milky Way, while a patented spherical moonphase indicates day and night.
A defining feature of the project is its pairing with the accompanying LVDB-03 Sympathique Louis Varius clock. When the watch is placed into the clock, it undergoes automatic winding and time synchronization over approximately 10 hours. Composed of 763 components, the clock is equipped with two large barrels and a remontoir d’égalité, operates at 18,000 vibrations per hour, and offers an impressive power reserve of approximately 11 days.
Production is strictly limited: two full sets of the clock and watch will be made, along with just 10 additional watches available individually.

Case: Diameter 45 mm, thickness 14.05 mm (titanium), Water-resistant 3 ATM / Movement: Hand-wound Cal. DB2507LV (40 jewels, Frequency 28,800 vph, Power reserve approximately 5 days) / Price: Please inquire.
